A Call to Shape the Next Generation

Sunday’s service centered on a powerful challenge for families: choosing to serve the Lord and intentionally passing faith on to the next generation. Through the sermon, we were reminded that children ultimately belong to God and that parents are called to steward their lives by modeling faith, praying for them, and guiding them toward Him.

This theme was beautifully reflected in a special moment during the service as Ben and Stephanie dedicated their son to the Lord, committing to raise him in faith and trusting God with his life and future. As a church family, we were honoured to stand with them in prayer and support.

The service began with this reflection from our service leader, Karen:

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. -Deuteronomy 6:6-9

We’re so excited. We have an exciting service for today. We just got back from Prophetic Pursuit conference, and what an incredible few days it was. We learned that God has specific creative gifts for each one of us and roles to produce kingdom. We look forward to seeing each and every one displaying your gifts.

So, let's join the worship team and enter His throne room and worshipping the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. So heavenly Father, we dedicate this day to you. Help us enter into your kingdom and into your worship. Amen.
